With about 1 month to go before taking off the California for the Double Pump tournaments, the 16U Samurai had another match-up with the U16 Japan National Team.  The Samurai were hoping to ride momentum from their last win against team Japan, but the Samurai fell behind in the second half and couldn't keep pace.  The Samurai went down 60-72.

The Tokyo Samurai went back to the National Training Center to have a rematch game with the U16 Japan National Team.  The Samurai lead most of the first half but gave up the lead late in the second quarter.  Momentum stayed with team Japan to start the second half as they went up by 8 but the Samurai took control midway through the 3rd and lead by as much as 16 in the 4th.  Team Japan made one last late push in the 4th but the Samurai came away with a 79-75 victory.

The 4th Annual Tokyo Skills Basketball Camp with Coach Dave Taylor had another great turnout!  The intensity and competition level was high and some real players coming through the ranks to become future Samurai!
